Świetlik jest bardzo dzielny. Rano zrobił kilka mikroskopijnych bobków ze śluzem, ale popołudniu po kolejnej dawce leków i karmieniu zaczęły pojawiać się większe bobki. Rano Świętlik miał nos zaklejony gęstą ropą, ale trudno się dziwić, skoro w j. ustnej ma pełno ropy. Walka z ropą to będzie kolejny etap, jeśli tylko stan Świetlika się ustabilizuje (wtedy czeka nas RTG, badanie krwi, zabiegi…) Świetlik je tylko rodi ze strzykawki. Ma apetyt, chciałby zjeść coś innego, ale nie jest w stanie nic pogryźć – nawet pokrojone na małe kawałki rodzynka to dla niego wyzwanie nie do  przejścia.

Świetlik jest kochanym stworzeniem. Kontaktowym, łagodnym, przyjacielskim. Kiedy na niego patrzę, widzę Ameliego, Kimbę czy Kordonka. Świetlik to po prostu uroczy staruszek. Przez większość czasu siedzi skulony, ale czasami kręci się po pokoju jak mały skrzat – kiedy biega ma ściśnięte i usztywnione tylne łapy, możemy tylko przypuszczać, jak wyglądało jego dotychczasowe życie.

Duszek jest jak krater z ropą (ropę czuć z odległości), ale wciąż jest tym samym uroczym gamoniem, który niczego się nie boi i uwielbia ludzi. I wciąż je. Duszek pochodzi z innej planety i nic nie robi na nim wrażenia. Nawet kiedy nie biega już po domu, ani po gabinecie u doktora, cały czas ma to „coś” tylko swojego.
